We have an Acer palmatum 'Sango-kaku' in a container. It is about 2
metres tall and is in well drained JI No. 3. The container is located
in a quite sheltered place in an area that receives full sun from mid
morning to early afternoon.

On my travels today I saw trays of pea plants, about 2 or 3" high for sale.
Seemed to me to be an odd thing to be selling at this time of year. Is it?

Is it just me or is the white, tasteless, sanitised lump of nothing
they call cabbage in the supermarkets these days really that bad, or
was the green much tastier and better for us?

Pest Control for bay/rosemary/goji

White Powdery 'Fungus' type material in soil

OT Frog in Greenhouse

Hi,
We have had a frog in our greenhouse for most of the summer. Now winter is
approaching I wonder if I should put it in the pond or undergrowth. The
floor is paved and we have taken most of the plants out so am not sure what
it will feed on or if it can hibernate in there.
