Companion pony wanted
Sat, 31 May 2008 10:10:13 -0700 (PDT)
I'm looking for a companion pony. I lost my Shetland in January; he
was 35 years old. This leaves me with a Welsh Mountain on her own and
she's not happy. I don't mind if it's a short-term, long-term or life-
long loan or a full purchase. You wouldn't have to lose contact with
your pont, either; visitation rig ...

Hi All,
Just a quick one! I have just dropped in quickly to let you all know
that Tia, (my friend's coloured PBA mare) foaled a beautiful coloured
colt called Apache Dakota last night at 11.25 pm.
Mum and baby are doing well and I will post pics later on. We're so
knackered that I have to get some sleep no ...

Tying up problems -suggestions?
Thu, 29 May 2008 16:07:43 -0700 (PDT)
Hi
My two boys (3 year old paint geldings, just started) have settled in
well and the weather (bad) has put a stop to any further ridden
training which is probably a good thing as its given them time to
chill out. We have to tie them to a hitching post to groom outside (no
barn yet). Because I don't know them v ...

here's a funny one...
Sun, 25 May 2008 11:25:16 -0700 (PDT)
....funny as in intriguing.
For the last two days, every pile of dung in the stables and barn have
been mysteriously diminished to the consistency you usually see after
a week or so - broken down into little bits. I muck out every day, so
they don't have time to break down in situ, so I've been speculating
as to ...

Blast from the past
Thu, 22 May 2008 22:55:33 +0200
Just figured I'd say hi... It's been forever, and a lot has changed.
Solon is doing brilliantly, he's looking shiny and fit. Is being
showjumped again and I've just started some XC course (only one time
so far!) with him. Dressage wise he's feeling great, but we're stuck
somewhere in the Medium class and I just ...

Ride report (for Matzi!)
Tue, 20 May 2008 20:24:50 +0100
Last Sunday, guess what - I did a long-distance PR. The only difference was
I took Cherry not Sophie. Sophie was NOT amused, and cantered/ bucked round
the field as I took Cherry away. How does she know it's a Sunday and not a
dressage day??
The ride was run by our local bridleways group and was unfortunat ...

Searching for a pony
Mon, 19 May 2008 17:50:51 +0100
OK, I know it's going to be very difficult to replace Ben, and we are
looking for something very specific, but I'm finding trawling the Internet
REALLY frustrating... there are loads and loads of horse-for-sale web sites
out there, but they vary in quality... as do the adverts!! It's amazing how
many people d ...
