25th 1000 Engine Rally Video

I received this by post this morning. It seems to be mainly movie shots
and covers the auction , the rally, the trip to the Anson museum & even helicopter aerial video's.
I really enjoyed it even though it seems the cameraman wasn't as engine minded as you and I.
What are your opinions if you also have a copy?

I?m looking for a con rod with a split bearing as per dimensions on
picture for an engine of 3? bore , 3.5? stroke and 2hp. Anything of a
slightly wider lateral bearing width considered.

Bristol Club Rally & carb stuff

The Bristol & South Gloucestershire SEC held their annual one day rally
yesterday, Sunday 6th July. There were (by count) 67 engines there, plus a
static exhibit of my ABC MkII & a few other non runners we didn't count.

Scrap metal

Went to the local skip yesterday to drop off some metal scrap. In the
container were several lenghts of 3" steel pipe that would have come
in very handy. Sadly you are not allowed to remove anything. What a
pity. According to the staff the is no metal scrap yard anywhere near
here (Harpenden). Does anyone know of ...
