A N Other PU8 joins the Collection

Following on from Paul Swindell's offer of another PU8 engine, we decided to
take him up on it, and collected it from his Dad's place today.
Just a basic engine, running with single fuel tank.
Hope to get some serious stripping done on the generator unit, and get the frame
away for blasting and coating.

OT-Tax refund BEWARE

I received a very genuine looking email today purporting to be from HM
Revenue and Customs saying that I had a Tax Refund. I was suspicious
when it asked for my creditcard details and phoned HMRC. They
confirmed that it was a Phishing attack and asked me to forward the
email to them. ...

Collected the Junkers 2HK65 today, plus a few boxes of spares from a second
scrapped engine, a lot of CLM (Compagnie Lilloise Moteurs) sales literature on
their licence-produced engines.

prop shaft flange wanted

Hi all, I have a Lister Fr in my boat and the flange on the propshaft
which bolts onto the gearbox flange is worn and the wrong size I am
looking for a 5 inch od 4 hole with a key shaft size of 1 inch. I have
not asked at the lister agent a tienmouth yet but the web seems to
have no leads. any clues? ...

Generator/Motor Identity

We collected a smallish DC machine today, on the way back from one of our
customers at Aylesbury.
There is a nameplate, but nearly all the etched/anodised print has gone, leaving
only serial numbers which are stamped.
