PU8 Genny Stripdown

Spent a happy couple of hours in the evening sun tonight, stripping the PU8 and
generator off the mounting frame so that it can go for shotblasting and Zinc
spraying.
Lots of design 'sillies' in there, like the massive copper induction pipe that
is anchored to the carb body one end, and fitted to the air cleaner ...

I have a problem with my AV1 fuel pump or govorner.
I took the engine apart to fit it through the hatch into the engine
room of my barge and I, foolishly?, took off the fuel pump. Everything
has gone back together, I can get the engine to start by pushing the

I recently bought a 5" angle grinder from Aldi for about ¡ê13 (can't
