Cheap machines

I want to know where I can find a decent cheapish machine for sewing
lots of denim.
I worry it might ruin my good machine . I want to make a boat load of
denim dog blankets for where I work and I thought a machine that is
meant for heavy duty use and has strong needles coulld be useful. I
however an not sure ...
