Hi Folks,
The Charted Celtic Knot Font is a revolutionary new way to make
Celtic
knotwork designs for cross stitch, needlework, or any graphed
needlecraft. You actually create your own charted (graphed) patterns
just by typing! You have to see it to believe it! You can make your

Dyeing fabric
Mon, 7 Jul 2008 09:14:12 -0700 (PDT)
Hello everyone!
I would like to dye my wedding gown and keep using it, rather than let
it hang desolately in a corner. I've asked at my local dry-cleaners'
and they confirmed that it is made of man-made fibres (I knew it
wasn't silk, considering I'd paid a very reasonable price for it). I
would like to know if ...

I know this is a real long shot (and I can't even remember if
commercial posts are allowed here - big sorry if they're not).
I used to frequent this group several years ago, along with a few

I just finished this quilt and will be entering it in a local
contest. My Daughter in law says it would be prettier
in blue and white. What do you think?

recommendations for reliable simple robust machine
Mon, 14 Jan 2008 09:36:12 -0800 (PST)
Hi,
I've been browsing the archives of this newsgroup and found a few
threads (forgive the pun) that relate to my issue (e.g. [1]). My wife
has a heavy old (about 25 years) Jones machine that breaks her back
when she lifts it, and breaks needles regularly. I suggested I
replace it for her birthday, and we p ...

has to be perfect! The picture is below:
Thanks! Gwynn
