Training in a group aircraft on Private CofA

Hi all,
I'm looking into buying a share in a group aircraft that is on a private
CofA. The person selling the share tells me I would be able to train on the
aircraft (for an IMC or Night Qualification for example) but my most recent

PLOGs and software??

What software do people use these days, if any, for producing their plogs
between UK and France? Its easily done on the GPS of course (I use a 296c)
but do people tend to make paper ones too?

Torque v. Power in aircraft

Hi,
I have noticed by watching the videos at http://www.fulldeflection.com
, that the radial engines of the Sukhoi etc, allow more vertical
penetration, but most Air Race planes have boxer or in-line engines.
I would have thought that the radials would have more engine torque,
thus pulling the planes around a ...
