I just got the AvShop.com weekly flier spam and noticed an old portable GPS
I had looked at a while back. Nice color and Victor Airways, but seemed to
be directed at the Euro Market so I passed it up.

I wonder if any remembers a CAA radio station at Galdenoch near Stranraer.
A friend came across a reference to a BBC site there in the 1980s but I just
found mention of an Air Ministry radio station in 1943 and also CAA in the
1950s and 1970s.
I am wondering if they are at the same place, not unknown for som ...

Could someone please tell me the size of the plugs used on GA fixed wing
headsets, and which one is used for the headphones and which for the
microphone? I should be able to use google for this one, but can't see it
anywhere.

Not sure if anyone's interested, but I'm a few hours into my PPL training in
the UK, and have been keeping a diary of my flights (and cancellations!) to
date. I even got to 'fly' with the Red Arrows this weekend!
