What security measures to take?

I thought I'd buy an older car for cheap transportation. It turns out I
bought the model that is #3 on the U.S. Most Stolen Car list ('89 Toyota
Camry).
Short of installing LoJack, what do you recommend?
Is a regular audible alarm with ignition- or starter-disabler effective?

Nissan Almera XCarLink iPod Adaptor

I'm trying to fit an XCarLink iPod adaptor in to my Nissan Almera. The car
is an 04 plate with the standard radio/cd installed.
I've plugged the link plug in to the back of the stereo (into the cd changer
port) and put 12v on the Bat & Acc wires, but I can't get the stereo to
switch to the cd changer input - ...

Vauxhall Meriva

I've just taken collection of my new Meriva (Motability) and in my old
cavalier I have a JVC 12-CD changer. I've been told that it is not possible
to connect the radio in the car to the CD changer.

Alpine CDA-9833 16 Pin Connector

DVD Sound OK but no TV sound

I bought an Innovatek IN-435BTS Radio/CD/DVD/TV player from Ebay and
it works fine untill I tried using the TV.
The TV works fine with a solid picture and colour but there is no
sound!
