golf mk2 driver 1.8 speakers

hi, i have a very standard mk2 driver with speaker grilles in the
front doors and standard ones at the back with a clarion head unit,
single cd/radio.
sound is not very good.
what is the easiest and cheapest way to improve the sound quality?
dont need anything amazing, just reasonable speakers for music with ...

Attenuate Button not working proper

Hi all
I have a Sony head unit in my car and the sound keeps going off and the ATT
sign is displayed.
This looks like the Attenuate function is not working correctly, used to
work fine.
Any clues as to how this can be checked/fixed? or is a new unit needed?

Wiring 2 amps to the stereo

I have been given 2 amps and 2 speakers - I want to put them into my
car. I would like to use both of the amps - just to make it as loud as
possible. This is my first time doing anything like this with my car.
The amps are:
Spider 6800 MacAudio - 680W
BoschMann Pch-2500Fx - 300W

I'm having some problems with my Pioneer head-unit (DEH P7500MP) and have
searched the internet to no avail so I'm hoping you guys can help.
Recently I've noticed that when flicking between the built-in movies etc.
I'm finding a fair few that are just displaying 'File Error'. Now the

power amp bridging

I have an older power amp for my subwoofer that I'm about to wire up.
Unfortunately I lost the owners manual. I know it can be bridged but my
dilemma is how to bridge it. My understanding is that bridging means running
off the positive output of one side and the negative of the other. Yet on
