I am looking for copies of two particular issues of electronic mags,
specifically:
1. Electronic & Radio Engineer, Sept. 1958
2. Wireless World, Nov. 1962
If anyone has these and is prepared to sell them to me or copy me an
article from each one I would be very grateful.

BBC Radio using AAC and internet radios

The BBC have started broadcasting Radio on the internet using AAC. AIUI
these streams are encapsulated with Flash, and whilst this may benefit the
iPlayer where does this leave internet radios?

Wireless music connection

It's to connect a laptop to a hifi (a sort of midi hifi with aux in).
Does such an arrangement compromise sound quality, compared to direct
wired connection?

Understanding S/PDIF

Does SPDIF completely define the format of an audio souce so that all S/PDIF
audio outputs coax or optical are compatible with corresponding inputs?
If so then presumable DVB-S and DVB-T receivers that have S/PDIF ouputs must
do some sort of conversion from MP2 or AC3 and is this a loss less
conversion?
