ways to attenuate a rampant 'vinyl' signal it seems (pending the arrival of
some Alps pots - see elsewhere)!

and an album of superb Marlene Dietrich '28-31 movie soundtrack recordings
that're positvely *gagging* to get done) but I need to attenuate the signal
from the 'recording amplifier' I'm using to the computer and can't for the
life of ...
