Aquatic Links wanted
Fri, 16 Feb 2007 16:05:49 -0000
Hi all

personal fishkeeping websites, UK mail order or LFS, (will accept overseas
links that ship to the UK) and any good forums you can recommend. A quick
trip to m ...

North London Juwel bits
Sun, 4 Feb 2007 16:07:44 +0000
We did have a thread a while back that if you lived in Wood Green or
Palmers Green there wasn't much in the way of shops to buy Juwel bits.
Most of the time I ended up either going to one of the Aquaria centres
at Crews Hill, or Wholesale Tropicals in Bethnal Green (great place
BTW).
Well someone mentione ...

Sudden deaths
Wed, 31 Jan 2007 20:46:11 +0000
Hi all,
I'm returning to fish, although previously I only dabbled so am by no

on in the tank.
Unfortunately what's going on is not so good.
I started off a freshwater tank with 4 Mollys. I realise I'm reclimbing
the learning curve ...

I have recently purchased 3 captive bred seahorses for my nano tank. They
are all feeding on frozen mysis and SFBB gut loaded brine shrimp. A short
video of them just after introduction can be seen at the following Youtube
link.

Two weeks ago I bought a lovely red Siamese fighter. At the shop he was
housed in a small jar/tank. He has now settled down in his new 55 gallon
tank with 2 angels 5 cardinals, 5 pentazonal barbs, 4 zebra's and 2 clown
fish.
My worry is that he is spending his time apparently hunting along the bottom
of t ...

Aggressive community fish - hungry?
Tue, 16 Jan 2007 21:37:53 -0000
I have a fairly well-stocked, some might say overstocked, tank. All's well
and has been stable for a good while. But one fish - a silver dollar - has
begun to be bullied relentlessly by others, particularly a large gourami and
lately even a silver shark - usually the most placid of beasties. He's
already lost mo ...
