200W Heater
Thu, 12 Jan 2006 19:54:26 GMT
Hi,
I have a Juwel Rio 180 tank with the supplied 200W heater.
I would like to know how efficient that is. Is it on all the time?. If not
how often (on average)?
The reason I ask is that my electricity bill has gone through the roof and
the only thing I can think that is doing it is the fish tank!

behind the sofa I was sitting on), when I heard an almighty bang !
Once I'd calmed down I discovered both of the struts that go across the tank

within the "good water parameter" borders". all are filled via the same
water supply with the same water conditioner, yet still two remain cloudy.
One is my ...

hasn't appeared, hence the repeat.
I have a tank that is exclusively for mollies, except for 2 striped talking
cat fish.
The fish all seem well and healthy but I've noticed these little wrigglies
in the tank.
It's impossible to t ...

Tue, 3 Jan 2006 15:42:13 +0000 (UTC)

attempt ended in failure when a single ferny plant was overwhelmed by the
algae which seems to thrive in my tank (due, I suspect, to quite a high
lighting level). I w ...
