Power Failure

I guess we take continuous power for granted in the UK, and perhaps we
shouldn't. My part of North London lost power from 10pm until 11pm last
night.
I've several tanks of fish and I wasn't unduly worried as the central
heating worked ok (once I took it off the timer), and I had confidence
it wasn't going ...

Treating White Spot

My girlfriend bought me a 100 litre tank for my birthday a few weeks ago. I
filled it with gravel a few fake plants and water and left the filter and
heater running for a few days.
I then went to my local fish shop and bought some small fish recommended by
them to cycle the tank.

Hi,
Two weeks ago I was bought a Synodontis Ocellifer by my girlfriend for
my birthday.
its is about 6" long, and she paid around ¡ê30 for it.
It is in a tank with a striped talking catfish (platydoras costatus) and
a polypterus senegalus, and a 5" Clown Loach.

Further to my first post on the 13th of January, my female guppy's keep
giving birth to fry!
My tank is 6 weeks old now and I started with 5 tetras and 2 pairs of
