Seabray Aquariums?

considering buying one and wanted to see if I can get any feedback on

Hi all
Has anyone used www.java-plants.com and if you did, what did you think ?
I'm swithering between a 48" tank collection, or a 10 potted plant
collection.
I'd really like one of those Java Fren Coconut caves too, but they're not on
the webpage, just in the PF ads.

Newbie - filter advice please

My son has been given a couple of goldfish in a small 2 gallon tank as a
present.
I would like to fit a filter so that I am not cleaning the tank every 5 mins
(his fish for feeding them, mine for cleaning them - you know how it is).
Can anybody recommend a suitably small filter system please.

These are the two bulbs I have in a Juwel Rio 240. Both are 38 watts and are
new. Now the aquarium looks a lot darker than before but I was told these

Pump maintenance

I have a 100 gallon tank - fully cycled 18 months ago. Water quality is spot
on. It houses 1 very large plec, 2 large silver sharks, 2 moonlight gouramis,
5 clown loach, 5 pakistani loach, 1 tiger barb and a few guppies and
platies. I've 2 questions, please. Firstly, is it usual to have to clean the

Nitrate Problem

Hi,
I slackened off water changes whilst the Kribensis fry were still tiny in my
community tank. I've lost a pair of rams, no thought I'd better test the
water. Nitrite and Ammonia zero,
but Nitrate is running off the clock, somewhere above 150ppm. The Kribs are
big enough now so I've done 25% water change ...

angelfish eggs

Ive a pair of angels, wasnt sure their were a breeding pair untill about two
week ago i caught them eating eggs laid on a plant, i removed the eggs to
tub with some meth blue and an airstone and they all turned white after
about 4 days i discarded them.

Hi , i do hope somebody can help , one of my parrot fish is looking
incredibley short of breath , he kept heading for the top of the tank to
talk a gulp of air , both my air pumps are working fine , but he seems to of
