Crane Fly Treat

I leave me tank top open in the summer and I noticed the fish are
getting regular crane fly treats :-) They fly in attracted to the
lights and the fish grab them in seconds.
Oh well they seem happy with the extra food.

Dwarf Gourami - Fungus

My male Dwarf Gourami has developed a patch of white furry ( i presume)
fungui on its lower fins. I have treated it with interpet No 8 Anti fungus
and finrot 3 days ago but it doesn't seem to be reducing. It seems lively
and not showing any signs of distress, but I don't want it to get any worse.

Relocating a tank

My wife and I are moving and our tank is coming with us.
I think I have this sorted. Empty the tank, fish go into bags, everything
else, well that gets packed (probably in buckets). Save half of the water.
Relocate everything. Get the substrate, then plants, filter and suchlike
back into the tank... all ...

Automatic Fish Feeders

Hi, I want to buy a fish feeder for feeding my fish when I go away this
summer for one month. I need it to be able to feed flake and hikari sinking
carnivore pellets, once a day. I also need it to be reliable, as it probably
won't be checked more than twice in that time, but I also don't want to have
to buy ...

Just wondering if anyone here has had any experiences with UV
sterilisers. After having lost four discus in three days, I was
absolutely shattered. After days of large water changes, medication and
turning the heat up to 32 C, I'd rushed off to the LFS and asked the
owner if there were any preventative measures ...

Catfish in Pond (Ireland) ?

A friend has 2 catfish in an indoor aquarium which he has to dispose of.
Wondering would it be ok to put them into my outdoor pond here in Ireland,
they are about 6" long and my pond is about 1200 imp gallons (5000 litres)
with about 20 fish already in it - Golden Orfes about 5",
Goldfish,Shabunkins and Com ...

I've got a 60litre juwell tank and until recently had two clown loach, a
swordtail and a single neon .. the other night, the fateful night, one clown
loach escaped and was returned to the tank but was gone in the morning. At
some point the neon had escaped too ... never to be returned. So, anyway,
quite an e ...

Hi All
We have just started an aquarium for our children of (for now) 4
aquatic frogs and 4 giant apple snails, 3 small apple snails. We have
been feeding the frogs bloodworm and the snails cucumber. The tank
water has become incredibly (whitish) cloudy over the last two weeks
since we started with the cucu ...

Giant Danios eyes have fallen out !

I have noticed that one of my Giant danios eyes seem to be bulging...which
has progressively gotten worse...to the point where one of the eyes has
dissappeared. Obviously the fish was in some distress having only one eye
and rapid breathing at the surface. No other fish, including other GD's have
been affect ...
