Leaders, ADCs meetings, etc,etc, where we often sat round in unheated halls
drinking rubbish coffee and had a good whinge about District or County or

I can't say I've dug too far in to new rules on CRBs etc. However was
told last night that NOW adults- eg Beaver parents-may no longer enter
the premises to colect their kids unless they've been CRB'd, and that
NOW we can be fined if we allow any non CRB'd person into our premises
while children are present.

So tonight, I was there.
11 years ago - on the 10th October 1998 to be exact - I invested our
first EVER female Scout.
It was at the Group's 90th anniversary party and I still have the
video of me taking her through her promise and the thunderous applause

Thickness of twine for whipping rope

What thickness of whipping twine should I be using for 5/8" manila
pioneering rope?
I have found: #2 (0.5mm), #3 (?mm), #4 (0.8mm), #8 (1mm), #16 (1.5mm).
Should the twine be waxed?
