I have had 2 English guns for quite a while and have not used them for
over 10 years and I wonder what they are worth. 1 is a Hardy S/S N/E
30" barrels, BNP reproofed and immaculate. The other is an Army & Navy
S/S SLE 30" barrels BNP reproofed VGC in a carry case with authentic
British Rail tickets on and incl ...

Hello everyone. A friend has asked if there is anywhere he can buy one of
those one handed wooden clappers used by beaters or is there a web site with
a drawing plan and instructions for making them. NOT footballer spectator

Custom in ear protection

I am looking at Green Leopard custom ear plugs for shooters at around ¡ê120.
I'm finding muffs stop me mounting the gun cleanly but I want to be bale to
hear what other folks are saying on walked up days etc.
Does anyone have any experience of them or other makes?

Pigeon decoys

Approx 10 - 12 years ago I purchased 20 1/2 shell pigeon decoys which were
very basic in detail and very lightweight. They "moved" beatifully in a
light breeze. The only problem with them was in a strong wing they tended to
blow off their mounting sticks which meant the stick got lost in the
stubble.

Pheasants

Any ideas, tricks of the trade to keep pheasants from wandering to far on a
part time keepered beat?
Plenty of water, wheat/kibbled maize, with a drop of aniseed, straw, good
cover in and out of the woods. Seem to have done all we can, but the sods
still keep walking......
