CPSA Classifications?
Fri, 1 Dec 2006 18:56:40 +0000
I've just been on the CPSA site, where they have updated the
scores/classifications.
I have only done 2 DTL registered shoots, 1 hit 84/244, the other
88/257, yet they have me down with a 83.5% average.
No, I'm not complaining, as I know I'm crap, but why is the average
lower than my lowest score?
Or, am I rea ...

Choke/Skeet
Mon, 27 Nov 2006 21:53:58 -0000
Hi,
Up until now, I have only ever used s/s for general rough shooting with the
occasional weekend of clays, maybe a couple of times a year.
My daughter has recently got the clay shooting bug, so I've just been out to
get an upgrade for our 30yr old trap (left outside all year, and still going
strong!!), and ...

DIY moulded earplugs - follow up.
Mon, 27 Nov 2006 18:42:58 +0000
I ordered a pair (or the kit) from here:
http://www.earplugsthatfit.com/
I ordered them on the 4th, and they arrived on the 21st - the post mark
was the 6th, so the delay was due to the postal service.
Anyway, it comes in a tiny bag, inside are the instructions, a small
black velvet bag to store the plugs i ...

Cheddar shooting ground
Mon, 20 Nov 2006 23:27:49 +0000
After a weekends shooting in Devon, we came back via Cheddar to get some
Monday shooting in. We went to Brook Bank shooting ground near Rodney
Stoke.
The ground seems mainly set up for skeet & the paint dryers, but they do
have a sporting layout incorporating those layouts. A big access
platform at the far ...

UT chokes?
Mon, 13 Nov 2006 17:47:15 +0000
If the weather is amenable, I'll be trying out Universal Trench next
Sunday.
When I told a mate, he said 'make sure I get choked up', meaning 3/4 and
full chokes.
I normally use 1/2 and 3/4 for DTL. Is that OK for UT, or should I
'tighten up'?
Ta
Alan.

Miroku mk10 Sporter
31 Oct 2006 11:56:37 -0800
Can anyone enlighten me with regard to a Miroku mk10 sporter I'm
thinking of buying? I can't find any info on the mk10, but there is
lots on the mk38, 60 and 70 models. I'm keen to find out when they
stopped making them as the serial number on the gun contains the
letters NN, which I am told is for 2003. If this ...
