Trap guns - what to look for?

I've been doing a bit of DTL shooting recently, and am now finding that
my Browning Sporter gun is not really suited to the demands of DTL, so
I'm on the lookout for a Trap gun.
Is there anything that I should specifically look for, or reject on such
a gun?
Obviously I'd be after a heavier gun, with a raised ri ...

My renewal has come through - it is now ¡ê55 for a year.
Now, call me cynical, but is it really worth the money?
We get a magazine 10 times a year, and insurance while shooting.
AIUI, the ground owners already supply insurance while shooting an event
anyway, so the insurance is not really a great benefit.

Seems everyone has hibernated recently.
I did a 100 ESP last Sunday, in between the wind and rain, there were 2
or 3 shafts of sunlight!
A score of 61 was a bit disappointing, I'd like to say conditions didnt
help, but I cant really blame conditions - I hit at least 1 of every
target, but managed to miss 2 or ...

Just to let you know that you were quite right about my choice of skeet
choke in my new gun. See post Choke/Skeet below.
We bought a new trap (Bowman Super 3 with Tripod stand) for our holiday
shooting, and it proved to be a winner. It fired the clays at least twice as
far, and therefore faster, that the old ...

DIY Blueing Touch Up

Dam and Blast..
I knocked the 30" Remmi over at Wedgeknock this morning (hardcore paths)
Damanged but didnt deent the barrel and breech.
I was thinking of getting it re-blued anyhow as it had a couple of marks on
it, but now Anal Tim cant but up with it.
Someone said you can get blue'ing touch up and do ...
