550 LTD     Mon, 29 Jun 2009 12:09:51 +0100
Anyone want any Kawasaki 550 LTD bits before I stick them on Ebay? Complete engine (almost) camshaft and set of carbs with it but removed, side panels with badges, brake discs, complete forks, headlamp, maybe wheels and frame ( can't remember where they are, may have been weighed in but I don't think so) V5 (1980 ...

Looks like the garage vacuum got the better of me...     Sun, 28 Jun 2009 19:59:37 +0100
After selling a few bikes I had hoped I could behave and not buy any more bikes in the near future but of course that wasn't going to happen, was it? That'll be another Italian V-twin, then... -- Morini Corsaro 125 | XL250 Motosport | R1150RT Laverda SF2 | Harley FXD BOTAFOF #33 TWA#10 The UKRM ...

Halfrauds Offer     Sun, 28 Jun 2009 10:44:19 GMT
I have just been to the local Halfrauds for 5 litres of 15/40. They have an offer/freebie on, 5 litres of oil you get a free set of 8 screwdrivers from the professional range allegedly worth ¡ê20. I have generally found their Pro range decent enough. I assume it's UK wide but don't blame me etc....... -- Ra ...

Anybody heard of a company called Bikecare in Brizzle?     Sun, 28 Jun 2009 09:47:14 +0100
Supposedly a bit of a Morini specialist but I've never heard of them. Mind you, I wasn't really immersed in things Morini for the last few years... -- Morini Corsaro 125 | XL250 Motosport | R1150RT Laverda SF2 | Harley FXD BOTAFOF #33 TWA#10 The UKRM FAQ: http://www.ukrm.net/faq/index.html "Je prof ...

A funny thing happened...     Tue, 23 Jun 2009 09:10:58 +0000 (UTC)
Yesterday I stopped off at Tesco, to get a couple of bits and bobs, on the way home. Parked the bike (Trident 900) on its side stand, on a slight slope, so that it was leaning *slightly* more than usual. Returned to the bike about 10 mins later, and when I hit the start button, it sounded laboured and didn't fi ...

Re: A good candidate for the 'optimist of the week' award     Tue, 23 Jun 2009 07:39:01 +0100
On or around Mon, 22 Jun 2009 14:09:35 +0000 (UTC), A.Clews@DENTURESsussex.ac.uk enlightened us thusly: >Thus spake Champ (news@champ.org.uk) unto the assembled multitudes: > >>>> Could always put "If you bid, you are bidding on..." >>> >>>Sounds a bit clunky to me. Why not just "You are invited to bid on..." ...

OT: Will the police investigate?     Mon, 22 Jun 2009 10:44:46 +0100
One wonders if the police will investigate who the officers are assaulting these women or put all their weight behind finding out who leaked the police video. http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2009/jun/21/kingsnorth-protester-ar rests-video-complaint -- Mick Whittingham 'and I will make it a felony ...

This coke in the tank thing...     Sun, 21 Jun 2009 17:30:13 +0100
How long should I leave it? And would dropping in a couple of Mentos help? I'm very annoyed that I managed to damage the tank transporting it to the coke :-( -- Gyp R1150R R80RT R65RS replace .co.uk with .com to reply ...
