Paging the internet security-isti

My company has announced that henceforth we won't receive paper
payslips. There will be electronic payslips, accessible by the
intranet.
If we want to save copies, we are forbidden to do so on company
machines. We have to save them to our home pooters.

Traffic Enforcement?
Thu, 19 Nov 2009 10:55:46 +0000
Saw a pretend police 4x4 on the M40 this morning with 'Traffic
Enforcement' written on the back.
It was driving slowly in the left lane with 'Follow Me' flashing on the
matrix board on the roof.
Nobody seemed to want to overtake it.
What's that about then? Do the cunts have any legal powers?

OT:MS Project Question
Thu, 19 Nov 2009 00:07:07 -0000
I'm sure I must be missing something obvious here...
I've inherited a programme plan and would really like to see at a
glance in the task sheet which dates have been manually entered and
which have been calculated. Is there any way to persuade MS Project to
show me?
Thanks.

Hello
Dell Vostro running XP. I read the compact flash cards from my Canon cameras
in its built in multi card reader. Before removing the card I open my
computer and right click to eject the card. The CF card icon greys out and
then I pull the card out. But; sometimes the card reader disappears. The

iPlayer on the Wii

is rather spiffy.
On my lo-tech SD telly, I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference
between iPlayer and live TV from the sofa.
Dang, as I type it's just gone into buffering mode.
