Fiat Ducato Servicing

My m/home is less than 5 years old. Do I really have to have it
serviced by my local Fiat dealer? They are very expensive & my local
mechanic, who services my Clio, is willing to do it for me. Please
advise.

Television slide out base

There used to be a firm that advertised in MMM, but I only have 6
months back copies and they are not advertised in any of these. I am

Elevating roof - Repair

I have a VW T25 but my question applies to anyone with a side hinged elevating
roof. The plastic fabric is beginning to crack. It is not too bad and i
attempted to repair it with spinAcker tape which was OK but a bit thin so i used
gaffer tape but that was to stiff. Sorry if I am beginning to sound like

Swiss stellplatz/aires/stop over places

last year i did a tour of europe, 3 months and stayed on a camp site for 2
nights in total, the rest of the time we stayed on carparks (totaly legal in
germany, no probs in interlaken etc) and in germany we used the wohnmobile
stellplatz system extensively.
Going away for another tour tommorow, and we're go ...

I have the diy skills to convert a panel van and fit it out with
a shower, sink etc.
But is it better just to buy a 3yr old Laika, CI, Joint, Elnagh type ¡ê20,000
coachbuilt instead ?
Currently I use an espace with a single bed from my house in.
