This first is a trip to Inchnadamph in May. The weather wasn't
particularly good but the fishing made up for it.

I understand that Joe has stopped stocking trout and has switched entirely
to coarse fishing. Partly due I think to losing stock in the recent hot
summers, which in turn reduced the numbers of trouters who went back. Shame,
I had some really enjoyable days there.

It has been a dry and sunny week at Brenig with a cool northerly wind
blowing for most of the week and the water temperature remains at seven
degrees celsius . Despite this cold weather, fish are being taken on or
near the surface on dries and nymphs.

Finally managed a few hours at F1 yesterday. Strong W-SW wind. Buzzers
around (small and large. 3 trout - all around 1.5lb. 1 on a booby (best
thing about booby fising is that it give you time to sort out your
tackle bag and rearrange flies into appropriate places), 2 on balck

Fishing Report, Week ending 23/04/06
This past week has seen pleasant warm fishing conditions with variable
wind conditions. The water temperature is 7oC.
The fishing has been good with the rod average at 5 fish. The average
fish weight is 2lb 5oz. The heaviest fish of the week went to Mr G.
