Hi to the group,
I'm just a new kid on the block could anyone give me a successful dressing
for an "orange blob" it seemed to be fishing very well the other day at my
local stillwater, the lake where I fish is stream fed, so during the "rainy"
season it tends to get somewhat coloured, and short of hitting the fi ...

Getting Back into Fishing
Wed, 07 Feb 2007 00:12:36 +0000
I just wondered what period the rod license runs from and when I am
allowed to fish for trout in England and Scotland?
I would also probably need a new rod. I've not been fishing for about
14 or 15 years now. I think I still have the old rod somewhere in our
basement.
I previously had a two piece rod it was ...

Fly tying rules: in or out?
4 Feb 2007 06:39:31 -0800
2 day ago, I posted a new pattern. Here is the pattern link http://
www.versacorp.cn/picImg/Adams-Big.jpg . I have got some feedback about
my pattern.
----The fly is not tied true to the accepted pattern, the proportions
are wrong, and it should be tied in sizes 10 to 20. Other than that,
it's perfect.

Fly Names
31 Jan 2007 04:16:50 -0800
The fly names have confused me for a long time. You could see my flies
at http://www.versacorp.cn . I have read some books about some of
those names. But until today, I have not got very clear about what the
meaning is. So I just try to tie flies as similar as those showed in
the books. I like the flies as anybo ...

Fly Tying in China
27 Jan 2007 09:26:57 -0800
Maybe the topic is boring. But flies are found in China. You know, I
have read some books about fly tying written by Amercians. It happened
hundreds of years ago. And now, you could find them in China. Even the
pattern in China maybe not the pefect pattern than other countries.
But at least, it proves that w ...

spinning rods
Tue, 23 Jan 2007 19:09:18 GMT
Can anyone tell me if Distinction Moy2 spinning rods are any good. Likewise
for Shimano and Cortland.
I am looking at 11foot type spin rods, and these are the 3 manufacturers i
have narrowed my search down to.
Any info would be very helpful.
