Fly fishing in the Yorkshire Dales

I made my first trip to the Dales last summer and had a great
introduction to fly fishing. I intend going back this year. Would any
one have a suggestion or two of either a lake or river that is 'as away
from the crowds' as possible.

I love fly fishing, I have fished for every kind of fish you can imagine
and it is a gas. A light line and fish of any size taking the fly make
for a lot of fun. I especially like trout and bass, they tend to be
hard hitting and easy release. I have had days where I released over 300
fish!.

sexing perch (slightly OT)

Hi there, a couple of months ago I caught 4 small perch to set up a native
fish tank in my kitchen.
I think I have three males and a one female but I`m not really sure.
The dorsal fin of what I think is the female seems quite small whereas the
