freecoaster hubs
06 Sep 2008 12:26:57 GMT
Some time ago (years ago) there was a short thread about the
mechanical internals of my daughter's tricycle wheel. Just in case
anyone forgot (unlikely, I know), the summary is that it looks like a
normal child's tricycle, with cranks off the axle of the front wheel,
but it will both freewheel and drive in bo ...

Crap policing in London
Sat, 6 Sep 2008 04:02:24 -0700 (PDT)
The increased danger to other road users by drivers who use handheld
mobile phones is well known:
Research shows that reactions times are about 50 per cent slower and
that people are four times more at risk of being involved in a
collision, when driving and on the 'phone.
In spite of the growing numbe ...

Sat, 06 Sep 2008 10:57:21 +0100
Hi All,

covered previously and Google has come up with nothing so:
Does anyone make a quick fold A-Head 1-1/8" stem or some such that
would allow you to move standard / basic MTB bars from horizontal to
(say) vertical so the bike would take up ...

suggestions for new bike
Fri, 5 Sep 2008 22:55:25 +0100
My road bike is becoming worn out and I feel that it won't take much more
commuting and exposure to the UK weather so I am looking to get a
replacement. My commute is an undulating 19 mile round trip with two steep
hills on the way in with a mile of continuous ascent at the end. The route
is virtually all rura ...

In my ignorance, I do not remember hearing of Ian Hibell, until now. I

Somewhere in what passes for my memory, I seem to recall you had a
small part in the programme that ousted Dick Barton from the airwaves.
I read it on the internet, so it must be true.
Was it as Christine Barford's son?
