Wheel sizes
Fri, 20 Nov 2009 22:17:10 -0000
Hi, I need to put my wheel size into a new bicycle computer/odometer. It is
asking for a size which I do not know how to work out. Size is between 60
and 300, but my wheel size is 26".
Does anyone know what this equates to in the bicycle computer world?
Many thanks in advance.

Elephant repellant

To prevent elephant infestations in your garden, paint the gateposts
with a mixture of tiger dung and creosote. I have done this for years
and have never seen an elephant. QED.

Cyclaire Bike pumps
Fri, 20 Nov 2009 13:03:26 -0000

Before that I had carried a mini pump but I found it extremely hard work and
I continually bent and frequently broke the "presta valve" tops.
Funnily enough I also converted to Marathon Plus at about the same time. and
so my use of the Cyc ...

Halfrods bicycle pedals last one month
Fri, 20 Nov 2009 09:08:14 +0000
<rant>
Is this a record? I know they are cheap at ¡ê11.99 but I would expect
them to last more than a month of light usage without breaking.
And the bearings are crap too!
