I am thinking of my replacing my tow car.
Has any one in the group got a Mondeo Estate 2005/6 model (2.0 TDCi )?
How well do they tow?
The caravan I have is a single axle but weights 1500Kg, which may be a bit
too much for the Mondeo.

yet another question ;) anyone care to share their experiences of
caravanning abroad ? altho it may be (quite)a while i'd eventually like to
try some sites in europe,the downside bits ive read seem to indicate there
can be some security issues unless you use 'proper' sites and there is the
gassing stories but ...

Volvo V40 with a saggy bottom! Suspension upgrade?

Is it possible to get a suspension upgrade for a Volvo 2001 V40 diesel
estate to tow caravans? My friend has one and wants to get a small
caravan but the back end already looks low!
Is this a known V40 problem? If not should he just get new springs and
shox from Volvo, or heavy duty gear from elsewhere?

carver 3600 stc fire query

I have a Carver 3600 stc fire in my 1996 Swift motorhome. If the heat
controller on top of the fire is positioned above midway the fire will
go off after around 10 minutes.
Has anybody else noticed this with theirs as I feel that it may only be
working at a reduced output?
