All year sites in France     Fri, 16 Nov 2007 23:41:49 -0800 (PST)
Hi. I was travelling in France this year for several month during September and Octobre. Towing a small caravan. I did the trip alone and found it frustrating that it was so difficult to find the camp sites open during the autumn, or all year. I am working on some routes to follow for next year trip. http ...

Propane/Butain     Fri, 16 Nov 2007 16:15:33 +0000
It has been suggested that propane is best for winter use. I already understand that butane will not vaporise at sub-zero temperatures but propane is the most popular fuel so what is the advantage of using butane? ...

MI5 Persecution: Brighton 24/9/98 (9460)     11 Nov 2007 08:42:16 GMT
Brighton Day Trip - 24/Sept/1998 Certainty level: 5% On a day trip to Brighton, carrying a minidisc recorder, I managed to collect several indistinct instances of what I think were people swearing at me. Between the 0.5 and 1.5 second marks of the above recording is something that sounds like "nutter". I re ...

MI5 Persecution: Leicester Square 9/2/98 (13808)     11 Nov 2007 10:44:42 GMT
Leicester Square - 9/Feb/1998 In February 1998 I spent some time in Leicester Square, in the West End of London. This is a very busy area of London, and one which can be relied on to produce "contacts". Capital Radio's offices and their cafe are located here, the Trocadero is nearby, and the place is full of c ...

Is this a dumb idea?     Sun, 11 Nov 2007 11:37:58 -0000
We're thinking of buying a caravan and we live in the twigs. With narrow lanes to drive through, we're concerned that the body will get scratched by branches of trees etc. The thinking is, could we cover the van with a fitted cover to protect it while driving? Obviously lights and number plate should not be obscur ...
