tow car

Anyone know if a Toyata 2 litre petrol saloon car would be any good for
towing and what sort of weight could they expect to tow. They would really
like a 5 berth with fixed bed.
My niece does not seem get good petrol economy out of the car anyway,
compared to our Mondeo, but it would cost too much to change as ...
