CLs and CSs how come the 5 rule is not 5 rule?
Sat, 17 May 2008 05:23:46 +0100
Been looking at some small CLs and CSs on the CCC and CC books list
and I have visited a few this year. Not one has been 5 caravans only!
Many sites have a small section for 5 vehicles, but then another field
for 10 or 20 vehicles and one site said the rule was 5 caravans and 5
motorhomes!
So what's that all a ...

Prejudice
Fri, 16 May 2008 23:10:44 +0100
As per the thread title - I'm 78 and my wife id 76, and we're becoming
increasingly fed up of the prejudice displayed towards older people.
For example, we start chatting to our neighbours on a site. Everything is
fine as long as we talk about grandchildren, types of grounsheets, or the
bloody weather When ...

Do you have air bed problems?
Thu, 15 May 2008 20:45:37 +0100
We're going mad with puncturing air beds - have you found a decent one?
Our self assembly double bed in the van is so hard, we find it almost
impossible to sleep on. Hence we always put an air bed on the top of it
which works very well for 6-8 nights only before the punctures start.
Unfortunately, last season w ...

Caravan with towball hitch & roof mount
Mon, 12 May 2008 23:59:42 +0100
When we in France a couple of years ago, we spotted an odd looking caravan
that appeared to be connected to the tow car by a very short connection (so
that the front of the van was very close to the rear of the car) and the van
extended up and over the roof ov the car where there was some sort of
roof-rack mounted ...

Sat, 10 May 2008 18:58:23 +0100
A bit of advice required, if possible.
I have an old bailey senator 6000, which uses a shurflo pump for the water.
As yet, no proper diagnosis has been possible, besides checking the fuses
(there maybe more that I don't know about?!), I will have a go with a
multimeter before doing anything drastic, My water has ...
