Hi all, first time user of this NG.
I have a couple of caravan related bits
to sell.
What are the rules regarding selling things on
this NG ???
Don't want to get my fingers burned so thought I
would ask before doing anything else.
If not allowed here, where is the best place
to sell such items on line ??

Definition of "outfit"

What do others understand by "outfit"?
I have always used the term for the caravan and car, but the CC seem to use
it for just the caravan (an increasing number of sites now have the footnote
"No outfits over 28ft.")

Awning sizing

I am trying to by an awning for my daughters caravan but the book gives the
size a '9' rather than the usual cm's. Anyone know what this equates to?

Scanner arial

Hi all
Are there any scanning enthusiasts in this group and if so, I would
like to know if anyone can recommend an arial for use on the van
somewhere....I have seen a few using a roach pole, but I dont think a
warden would like that at a club site !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I have a problem with my awning zip, which needs replacing, do's anyone know
of a repairer in the Nottingham area please? I have looked in the yellow
pages etc with no success.

electrical problem

I have noticed that the central pin on the caravan electrical plug
(grey lead) has been getting very hot, in fact the plastic has melted
around the pin and the same has happened on the socket on the tow bar.
Any ideas? Pete ...

stabaliser fitting

hello all, i have recently changed cars, toyota rav4 d-d4), and the
new one has a removable swan neck style towbar. problem is my
stabaliser is the bulldog type with the standard fitting onto the
towbar flange, by two bolts. this swan neck job don't have the
standard fitting. any advice please.

Does any one know if there are any problems with driving off Speed ferries
in Bolougne and accessing the motorway to Caen. Are there any blockades and
how do I avoid them?
