What is a drain down service for caravans?

My son has recently purchased a static caravan.
The manager said that when the site closes in October they offer a drain
down service.
Which they said he can either do himself, or they will do for ¡ê65.

carbon or steel poles

I`m thinking of buying a new awning and i`m wondering if I should go
for the carbon or steel poles. The reason is because we go to Scotland
a lot and with the strong winds up there would a tie down kit be any
good with the carbon/fibreglass poles ie. flexing? Pete ...

As newbie and wannabie bike riders (if the rear end holds out) can anyone
suggest sites that are particularly good for interest for riding from?
Preferably in flat areas? North of the Thames as far as York..Welsh borders

I have the usual , for 8 years ago, staus aerial on my Bailey with an
amplifier thing in a convenient cupboard. Recently using an external aerial
on a mast i tried pluging it into the amp to get a better signal but zero
reception.
Do I take it this is only for use with the onboard Status and nothing else??

I wonder if anyone can help me.
I have recently bought a static caravan to live in whilst my new home is
being built.
The interior walls are very thin to say the least.

I have an 110amp battery, in the caravan and that is kept in the drive
maintained on 'shore power'. The built in power unit, (normally) keeps
the battery charged and I give it a very occasional boost with a
'proper charger' -except....
