Hi just got a fine today for going through the width.restrictions(the bit for buses)so much easier than the bit for cars and supposedly everything else!!! I tried to use my carver 1800sc gas heater over the weekend (97 Bailey) and although the ignition worked quite quickly I found I could not turn the flame up to normal working and then when I turned it to off ..it stayed exactly the same.The only way to stop it was to turn the gas bottle off. Next month I'm due to drain down my static caravan as the site closes for winter. Is there anything that can be done to prevent dampness over the winter months? Someone mentioned that leaving salt in an open jar would absorb any moisture. Can anyone tell me if this works or does anyone have any suggestions? ...
