Width Restrictions

I notice that many urban roads in London and its environs have width
restrictions fitted to stop heavy lorries trundling through
residential areas. The problem is that caravans are often too wide to
pass through as well and turning a car with caravan attached on a busy
road is not the easiest of jobs.

Caravan Coupling Mirror

Is it possible to buy a mirror that can be temporarily stuck on to the
rear window of my Ford Focus so that I can see the ball hitch linking
up with the caravan hitch from the driving seat.
I know you can get them that are permanently fitted to the trailer but

Have you got a Caravan that's a magnet to footballs,I have.I can go to a
site with at least 30 Vans and kids will play with there football,nothing
wrong in that,but whose van or car dose it hit.You've got it MINE.I'll put

Our minibus full of disabled and caravan/camping equipment was stolen from
Royston, Herts last night.
It is very identifiable; Its a large white LDV convoy (pre-conversion) with

Porch Awning

used our sunnfair scenic plus porch awning for the first time over the
weekend. one of the fibreglass pole type that form a curved surface. Nylon
type material etc.No groundsheet.

I tow a bailey 450/2 something like 1086K loaded. I am considering a03/04
diesel CRV with the 2.2 engine.
Any experience of these cars please? Some say they are a bit light but the

wheel clamps on site

we have just returned from a week away at the Four site at Henley On Thames.
While walking around like we all do it was very obvious that at least 80% of
the units did not have there wheel clamps in place. If the caravan is left
unattended then you have to fit the clamp to make the insurance null and

OT: Tyre pressures

Having recently purchased a new (S/H) car, I was checking tyre pressures and
found them to be over the manufacturers recommended pressure by some 10lbs
or so.
I checked on some tyre sites and saw their recommendation that they should
be adjusted when "cold" ?!! what does that mean I thought and after a chat
...
