Trangia burner

Not used a trangia burner (or any other meths burner) before so have a
couple of questions - any basic instructions for filling and using on the
web or elsewhere ?
Also, I have some Greenheat gel sachets and wondered if anyone had slopped
this into a trangia burner and lit it ? Was it successful ?

solar charge for leisure battery?

Hello,
I was advised that a leisure battery might discharge if left unused
for some time and I was told that a solar charger would top-up the
charge and prevent this. What size solar panel would I need? Does the
output of the panel have to be a certain ration of the capacity of the

Sorry if this is a FAQ but how easy is it to use a camping gaz stove
with a calor gas cylinder?
I'm about to buy a camping gaz stove and from what I had read here,
camping gaz is abundant in Europe but not the UK. Near me there are
several petrol stations and DIY stores all selling calor gas
cylinders ...
