Tenting time is coming

I'm looking forward to the (my) tenting season, feel strangely drawn to the
Llangollen area to start with, as it's not too far from my home in the W
Mids, looked at UK Campsite, there is a site near the ruined abbey that
looks OK... also would be nice to be in sight of the local steam railway...
anyway has anyon ...

Nice solid large wheeled trailer, perfect for loading your tents and
stuff with.
Spare wheel fitted to the A Frame. Metal lined but the base wood needs
fixing a bit and the lights are smashed. I do have some to put on but
it's to wet to sit out there doing it :)
Leaf spring suspension not a Halfrauds tin jo ...

Jersey Camping

Hi All.
upon looking on the condor ferries web site I came across a holiday that
they do on Jersey, a fully equiped 4 man frame tent and car crossing . Has
anyone any experience on staying on any of he camp sites on Jersey?

Just to let you know KGB, that following your help and advice (and others in
rec.travel.usa-canada) I'm all booked up. Fly out to Vegas on 22 May (via
Chicago) and back on 6 June (via San Fran). Trailfinder (very friendly)
couldn't match lastminute.com and Alamo was cheapest for the car hire.

tent brands? question from a newbie

Hi all, I'm looking at buying a tent - around a four person in size. For
some occassional camping trips, usually of short duration, ie pull out
the back of the car, setup, usually dismantle the next morning. So I'm
not after anything fancy. However I do like the idea of a vestibule and
bucket floor.
