Perhaps slightly off-topic, but looking for ideas on how to escalate a
complaint/situation I have with BT, specifically their BTConnect email
services. I originally made two complaints about their service on separate

Joint Mortgage and divorce

A friend of my is thinking of filing for divorce. She has a joint
mortgage with her husband. She is in work and can afford the mortgage
repayments on her own but with a struggle. If the divorce is settled
is there any obligation on her part to tell the mortgager about the
changed circumstances?

BT disables BT-installed socket for non-compliance

Hi,
I wonder if someone could cast an eye over this little problem and
comment on any possible remedy I might pursue.
In October 2006 I paid BT about ¡ê100 to install an extension socket in
my living room. The only other telephone point was the master socket in

Hi,
I have an ongoing complaint with the DWP from the beginning of 2008. After
just over a year I have received the result from the Independent Case
Examiner - my complaint has been upheld. A solicitor friend of mine
suggests that there might be benefit in at least the ICE response being
circulated around ...
