Online purchase gone wrong - what next?

A friend bought a quantity of natural stone online in July for a
patio. At the time of purchase the company called and said they
couldn't supply the quantity she ordered (250sq/m) in the size range
she ordered and offered another size range. It basically meant she
had to buy 16 crates instead of 13.

a high street bank and was refused a receipt for the deposit.
