I think several companies charge fees to start your plan and receive
commissions beginning your payments.

allowing for inflation these figures look much worse.We are going to

NS&I (National Savings and Investments) is increasing the interest rates
on its Fixed Interest Savings Certificates, Children?s Bonus Bonds and
Direct ISA by up to 1.20%. The revised interest rates will come into
effect from 19 August 2009.

Require 100 pounds/month from an investment

My wife and I are British citizens living overseas. My mother-in-law
(still living in Britain) requires a further 100 pounds/month in order
to make ends meet. We are prepared to set up an investment in Britain
to acheive this sort of income for her, but we have been away for so

Getting rid of staff.

Wondering what methods an employer has to get rid of staff if they just
don't want them anymore. (Small company 3 employees)
Assuming they don't make it easy by stealing from the till or assaulting
the employer so that an instant gross misconduct dismissal can be given.

Waiting for money to clear twice

I made a mistake and paid a cheque into the wrong bank account.
I phoned up and my bank debited the bank account which was credited
and credited the correct bank account.
They are now saying that both credits are not cleared even though one
has been reversed.

when fixing ones cistern valve, use nothing but Torbeck valves and parts.
Their valve stem to porcelain sealing washers have one spherical side to
seal that huge 19mm to 25mm difference, the stem height, when set, does not
infringe the cistern lid and the stem port is the correct shape and size to
match norma ...
