I was just wondering when I should get this done. The car is a mk4 vw
golf 1.6 01 model. I had it done when I bought the car and was just
wondering what the service schedule is for reknewing it ?

Hello - can anyone here help me with how to get the Petrol pump out of
the tank on a late model T4?
I have the tank out, and I want to replace the non functional pump - but
no idea what the trick is to remove the pump from the base of the tank.
It seems to be keyed in and/or held in by some sort of magic.

Jetta: CR or PD

My wife has just bought a used Jetta 2.0 SE TDI first registered in
September 2008.It has engine code BKD.
Does anyone know if this is a CR engine or a PD as I have been given
conflicting information at the dealers.

Ignition Lead problems '97 2.5 Transporter

The ignition leads have failed every 15-20k miles on this vehicle (including
the first time when it was a day or two out of warranty!
Problem was solved at 60k by the installation of solid copper leads, but
these were replaced with original eqpt. during the 125k service (unnoticed
by me), as the mechanic want ...

Had a bit of a strange grinding noise from the back end for the last couple
of weeks after a recent visit to a VW garage to replace the rear brake pads
and disks. They said the rear springs were rusted as well.

control to both front windows. Sounds very similar to the issue on this
