3.0 dCI Auto tomorrow.
Not for me - hopefully, obviously :-)
Pros - it's not German.
Cons - it's French, 26 grand in depreciation so far, the ugly stick.
On balance, I quite like them :-)

The new car tax bands, they come in on 1 april next year don't they?
So it would be a good idea to buy a new 12 month tax starting on 31
march, even if you're isn't quite due?
I think my tax is due end of august so I might just buy a 6 month one
then buy a 12 month one next year before april 1st.

My shed was helpfully tidied up. Including all those useless empty oil cans.
So last week I dropped the oil out of the 406, into a washing up bowl, and
there it has stayed, due to the lack of a suitable container to take it to
the recycling place in.

Chrysler 300C Mini Review

Just back from a short test of a 300C 3.0CRD Auto.
Overall, I really want to like the car - the engine and gearbox work
well, it's refined, with Jaguar-rivalling ride quality and almost silent
at 70mph.
On the other hand, it's a bit 'Dell Boy' in terms of looks and a fair
bit of the interior trim wouldn't eve ...

Doesn't really feel super different, but then a 406 doesn't really feel
quick (gone from 110 to 135ish). However, 50-70 seems to have dropped from
weeks to somewhere around 5-6 seconds, depending on whether it's 50-70 from
trundling or having already floored it at 45. I'll get my datalogger thingy
out and see ...
