next Wed when I leave work in Northampton
at 4.30pm I need to drive to Wokingham. Can
any of you "frequent flyers" in this region tell
me, do I head M1, M25, M4 at this time of
night, do I get to Bicester, go A34 and M4,
or is there a better way?

The US has long had cheap fuel prices while its potential export
markets mostly did not. Is this the fundamental reason why Germany has
thrived as a car maker while US cars became white elephants?

"skinny" spares moan

what the point? My last two cars have had skinny spares fitted in a
well that takes a full sized spare (glad to say actually) I end up
spending ¡ê300 for a fifth alloy (OK, I could get a cheap steel) on the
land rover its not even smaller, just a slightly different tyre on a
R17 instead of R19. It costs me a fair b ...
