Focus rear parking sensor and towbars
Wed, 10 Jun 2009 04:18:51 -0700 (PDT)
I've been told that if I fit a ball towbar to my 58 reg Focus,
it will interfere with the factory fitted rear parking sensor.
Has anyone any experience of this or workarounds
( detachable towbar? ) ?

Delivery changes
Wed, 3 Jun 2009 00:31:29 -0700 (PDT)
Decided to buy a car I've seen, from a dealer 120 miles from where I
live.
Need to use delivery as a condition of purchase. Can anyone give me
a rough figure of how much it would cost the dealer to deliver to help
me decide what other benefits I could receive during negotiations?
Cheers,

Spare tyre
Tue, 02 Jun 2009 18:10:15 -0500
I was reading the thread about the skinny spare. One thing about them is
the 50 mph limit. I have a full size spare in my Mondeo MK2 1.8i. But, it
is marked 50 mph max speed just like a skinny. The normal raodwheels are
alloys and the spare is a steel.
Anyone have an idea why the full size spare is speed limit ...

Quite chuffed: Fuel economy.
Tue, 2 Jun 2009 19:37:17 +0100
Just done a trip to do a rush job for someone delivering some mirror
arms from Bridlington to Modec in Coventry. As they were in two big
boxes, I decided to chuck them in the boot of my Mondeo.
Barring the 44 mile SC A road stretch to the M62, the 50 limit through
the roadworks from J28-26, M1 there and back ...

12 month MOT.
Barely anywear in the cabin, and mk4 golf do peel like oranges.
Everything works, played with all the buttons, radio wipers ...
