How check on suspicious parked van

A van has been parked for some time on a private service road near me.
Unusual for a van to park there for so long.
Where do I report my suspicions? Can I checl if the van has been
registered stolen? If possible I don't want to go to the police and then
find it's not stolen and look like some troublemaker.

My bro is looking at a Primera 2.0 SLX on an R plate with an auto
gearbox. 83k on the car, full MOT, FSH.
Does anyone know if the auto boxes are typically Japanese and reliable,
or if they're like the older Mondeo and made of cheese?

Hi,
Car insurance policy is up for renewal and so is the AA membership. The
AA has given me some ridiculous price to renew (and yes I can get it
cheaper off the internet but ...).
Does Green flag do what it says on the tin? :-) For example with the
AA most of the times I needed them it did what I expect ...

After filling up on nowt but Shell, BP and Esso for the last 6 months,

58 Focus hatchback: towbar + rear impact bar

Just had one fitted by a mobile service recommended
by my local ford garage, who don't fit towbars.
He called to say he had finished, and when I arrived,
he opened my boot to show me a heavy steel bar. He
said it was the rear impact bar, and "you have to take it
off to fit a towbar". Can anyone confirm this?

modifications from the manufacturers standard specifications. I
always took this to mean anything added since the car was new. Is
this correct?
