Impreza pipe fitting problem

A work colleague described to me how he's spent ages trying to fit a silicon
pipe to his Subaru, it's the pipe between the turbo and inlet manifold and
he's having severe problems making it go on.
Is there a knack to it?

had the new clutch and recon gearbox fitted to the starcraft...but the
speedo cable is fubar
still not sure on the engine, someone who has seen it says its a pug unit,
but branded as a ford and could be from a early tranny....the gearbox is a
type 9 longnose.
so would it still be possible to get one of ...

Does anyone know if there is a low cost fault code reader for a 1998 Renault

Polishing scuffs out of glass

Hi,
Got a slight scuffed patch on the door glass where somethings pinged it,
<1cm dia. Not deep, just rough.
Is there likely to be any risk to the integrity of the glass (toughened and
all that)?
It's not in the line of sight, but a bit annoying - do anyone like Autoglass
offer polishing facilities these d ...

I have an Astra 'F' series (?) 1993 fitted with alloys that I want cleaning.
Acquired some steel wheels off another astra so that I didn't have to rush.
It turns out that my alloys are 14inch and the steel wheel are 15inch,
anyone know if the 'centres' are the same allowing me to use them or did I
