Yesterday I saw the section on the ninth commandment from J.John's DVDs
on the ten commandments. Part of that included suggestions on reforming
- he took from the Letter of James the lesson "don't gossip." However,

It's quite bizarre all the opinions given forward.
I was banking on God, Christ, or the Holy Spirit to talk, tell, or at
least guide me in the right direction and that perhaps the feelings I
get are the reassurance that Im travelling along the right path.
Perhaps I don't have all the understanding of faith a ...

I kept reading with interest what people were saying about feelings, how
you shouldn't really rely on those for your faith because as soon as the
feelings disappear, so does your faith.

Why six and seven?

Why does the Genesis story say that God made everything in six days (or
periods of time or whatever) and rested on the seventh? Seven turns up
everywhere and six is the least perfect number, so were the authors of
Genesis influenced by numerology?
